ABOUT

Hello! My name is Kasey.

About ten years ago, I adopted my pit bull, Kaia. A few months after bringing her home, she began showing behaviors toward other dogs that I initially believed were signs of aggression. Wanting to help her, I quickly sought out professional guidance and was introduced to incredible trainers who specialized in dog psychology.

Through that process, I not only learned how to address her behavior, but also how to truly understand why she was reacting the way she was. I discovered that Kaia wasn’t acting out of aggression at all—she was acting out of fear. That realization completely transformed our relationship and the way I communicated with her.

What once felt overwhelming and stressful has become something I deeply enjoy. I used to dread taking Kaia out for walks, worried she would lunge at another dog or have an embarrassing reaction in public. Today, walking her is my absolute favorite part of the day. Our bond continues to grow stronger, and that experience is the foundation of how I approach training with every dog and owner I work with.

Why I love doing this?

Through working on these skills daily with my own dog, I fell deeply in love with the process of helping dogs who are often labeled as “aggressive” or “problematic” learn healthier ways to navigate the world. I am especially passionate about working with dogs who struggle behaviorally and guiding them toward becoming calmer, more balanced versions of themselves.

I have been practicing dog psychology for over 10 years and have extensive experience helping dogs with a wide range of behavioral challenges, including aggression, leash pulling, jumping, lunging, barking, and more. My approach focuses on understanding the root cause of behaviors rather than simply correcting the symptoms.

My ultimate goal is to empower owners with the knowledge and tools they need to better understand their dogs and meet their needs—so they can build a trusting relationship and enjoy an easier, happier life together.

AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED

“Kasey is a miracle worker and the only regret we have is not calling her sooner. After only one session, we were provided with life-long tools and the knowledge to confidently walk our three-year old golden retriever, Lenny. Prior to working with Kasey, we avoided walks as it was almost impossible since he constantly pulled. We are happy to report that we now have daily, calm walks with Lenny and it's all due to Kasey. She also helped us reintroduce the crate as he was terrified of it, but again, she provided tips and showed us how to calmly re-introduce the crate and make it a calming place for him. Kasey continues to check-in and makes herself available for follow- up questions and assistance when needed. We were in desperate need of assistance and calling Kasey was the best decision we made for our family. We are forever grateful for her help!”

ABOUT

About 10 years ago I adopted my Pitbull, Kaia. A few months after adopting her, she began showing signs of what I thought was "aggression" towards other dogs. I quickly sought out help for this issue and came across some incredible dog psychology trainers. Not only was I taught ways that I can help my dog improve this behavior, but also learned to understand my dog and learn why she was displaying this type of behavior in the first place.
