ABOUT

Hello! My name is Kasey.

About 6 years ago I adopted my Pitbull, Kaia. A few months after adopting her, she began showing signs of what I thought was "aggression" towards other dogs. I quickly sought out help for this issue and came across some incredible dog psychology trainers. Not only was I taught ways that I can help my dog improve this behavior, but also learned to understand my dog and learn why she was displaying this type of behavior in the first place. It turned out, she was not acting out of aggression, but simply out of fear. This changed my entire relationship with her, and continues to make our relationship stronger everyday. I used to dread taking her out for a walk because I was so scared she would lunge at another dog on leash, or do something embarrassing in public, now it’s my absolute favorite part of my day.

Why I love doing this?

While working on these skills daily with my personal dog, I absolutely fell in love with the process of helping dogs that are deemed "aggressive" or have behavioral issues, and helping them achieve a better version of themselves. I have been practicing dog psychology for about 4 years now and have a ton of experience in helping dogs with all types of behavioral issues- such as: aggression, leash pulling, jumping, lunging, barking, etc. My goal is to teach owners how to better understand their dogs and their needs in order to live an easy and happy life together.

AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED

“Kasey is a miracle worker and the only regret we have is not calling her sooner. After only one session, we were provided with life-long tools and the knowledge to confidently walk our three-year old golden retriever, Lenny. Prior to working with Kasey, we avoided walks as it was almost impossible since he constantly pulled. We are happy to report that we now have daily, calm walks with Lenny and it's all due to Kasey. She also helped us reintroduce the crate as he was terrified of it, but again, she provided tips and showed us how to calmly re-introduce the crate and make it a calming place for him. Kasey continues to check-in and makes herself available for follow- up questions and assistance when needed. We were in desperate need of assistance and calling Kasey was the best decision we made for our family. We are forever grateful for her help!”
